as a little girl, one of many things i loved to do during the holidays was to watch the highly anticipated specials back to back on tv: the sound of music, the wizard of oz, willy wonka & the chocolate factory, and almost angels. it was the one time of the year when my parents were just too busy with the holiday affairs to monitor my tv watching time. out of the four movies, almost angels was the most realistic one in my eyes, and gave me hope that one day i too can sing like an angel. it turns out that i have no talent whatsoever in singing, but i do love to listen. i still get goosebumps watching this scene from the movie.
when i heard about portland choirs, i immediately emailed them to see if they could use my picture taking skills. fortunately for me, the organization was long overdue for photos, and i was able to capture some groups shots for them. the boys above sure are adorable, but wait ’til you hear them sing! i can’t wait to go back and take individual portraits of these talented kids.
