could not believe that the sun was actually out today for the psu farmers market. i was hoping to find morels and asparagus but they are not in season quite yet. i did come home with a bunch of other beautiful things including a small morsel of black truffle. i had picked out a handful of black truffles to be wrapped because i thought the sign said $15/lb but it turned out that i was mistaken, and it was actually $15 per ounce. i didn’t want to walk away empty handed after spending some time sorting through the basket, so i purchased the smallest one for whopping $9. will be making pasta with truffle this weekend for sure.
