It takes a lot of guts to hire someone to document your wedding day just by looking at the photographer’s food and portrait portfolio. But, it is precisely what Lauren and Greg did. This is what Greg said in one of our correspondences. ” For our wedding, we just want you to have fun, and let your creativity shine.” No pressure, right?
The bride and the groom-to-be were also taking on a big risk by choosing the Oregon Coast as the location, and the second Saturday of MAY as the date. Those of us who are familiar with the weather in Oregon would cringe at the thought of having a beach wedding in May. I was constantly checking the weather as the wedding date drew closer. I prayed for zero precipitation at the coast, especially because the wedding party were to travel from Canada! Thank heavens the weather was on our side. It was a gorgeous, sunny, perfect day for the wedding. Congratulations again to Lauren and Greg, and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
